We designed and made this bespoke wardrobe for a flat at Edgewood Mews in Finchley. The Douglas fir plywood is finished in Linolie Satinwood oil in Verona, paired with steel handles and solid pine interiors.

We were drawn to the almost medieval feel of the development, designed by Peter Barber Architects. Its narrow pedestrian street, projecting brickwork and varied roofline give it the character of a small town within the city. The wardrobe’s offset arrangement takes a cue from the way the buildings step in and out, bringing a little of the surrounding architecture indoors.
